As for the really good desserts .. the staff very rude. If there is another time I will not stop anymore.
The operation is just wonderful. You like to go shopping several times a day.
Nice place
As always, pleasant and welcoming environment! The pastry is top !!!
Good view, delicious dessert, recommend this shop if you come to St. Moritz.
We wanted to eat a family meal there and we were quite disappointed. The dishes are expensive and not exceptional. My cheese crust was for example made with toast bread when I was in a bakery ... Full of good fresh bread normally. In addition, the cordon bleu was nothing very fancy and it was small. The buffet desserts were very (too) plentiful and not fancy. In summary: not bad but not up to what you would expect.
old school
Very authentic local place
The products are of good quality and made with great attention to detail. However, the service at the counter, as in the caffè itself, is a bit frosty. The service speaks several languages fluently, but you still feel undesirable when you order something.
A must in the valley for a quick snack, a chocolate or some unsurpassed confiserie
Nice products but please don't stop there to drink or eat, I have rarely seen such a long waiting time in a café!
Tradition-rich café in the heart of St. Moritz. Was served by the waiter Nice. Gladly again
All very good, too bad that only very few waiters wear the mask and almost no one respects even a minimum distance
The most famous, renowned and historic pastry shop in St. Moritz that certainly doesn't need too many words. The quality and variety of the products are not in dispute. Table service is polite and multilingual. I must leave only two useful observations. The chocolate isn't the thick one you all expect, but it's great. The prices are aligned with the luxury of the resort.
Price-performance is great. You don't even believe that St.Moritz can get such quality at moderate prices.
We have 10 min. Waited for a free table, another 15 for the sometimes arrogant / overwhelmed service to order. At least there was an apology from the only friendly and working waitress. Apple strudel and Kännli tea were great and came promptly.
BAKERY: Fine and fresh rolls. Braid on Saturdays and Sundays. CAFE: Kind. Coffee is good. Prices according to the location.
Just OK, nothing special
In dire need of a renovation. Coco Chanel's time is long gone and the decor needs to be uplifted into the 21st century. Also the service staff has a tendency to be abit impolite at times. I guess its enough to live of the legacy from St. Moritz's heyday.
The breakfast was very good and relatively cheap for St. Moritz. The service was excellent and very, very friendly 😊 only the bread for breakfast was quite dry, which surprised me for a bakery 😉
This pastry shop is located right in the center of St Moritz, the windows are very beautiful, inside there is a room that you can't see from outside where you can order and eat. The choice of desserts is somewhat limited, the patisserie offers more chocolates than cakes. The prices are high but reasonable for the location and the uniqueness of the place.
We tried to get a coffee and a pastry, but were unable to order, as one lady who was serving smirked upon seeing me sitting at the table. She came to me and rudely told me the table was taken, even though it was not. I said the table was empty for quite some time with a bill on the table from previous clients. Otherwise the building looked nice, and the pastries looked delicious, although I couldn't try any, and did not want to after such a bitter performance from a staff.
Hot chocolate with cream that looks like Nesquik made with water instead of milk, a little cream, however, tasteless. All seasoned by a rude waitress who made us get up from a table where we were sitting, go back to the departure and then make us sit again in the same place ... All obviously very expensive, even if in our case after complaining they didn't charge us (we left almost all of it there). We went in out of curiosity, but if you are looking for good hot chocolate you can avoid it
Very bad service, the waitress ignored us.
We went there for the fame of the cafe but the food is nothing special. Very overrated. The service was unfortunately not that friendly. The 2 stars are for the coffee latte, because it tasted good!
Very nice cafe, the products are made with love. The prices according to the LOCATION😉. Unfortunately only a child seat is available. The staff is courteous, except for one. She doesn't make a friendly face and there is a sound after every job.
Elegant
Excellent place in the center of St Moritz, the assortment of patisserie is very vast. The showcase is very beautiful (it is very inviting). The packaging is also beautiful. Fairly high prices
The bakery is famous for Nusstorte(nut cake). I found it’s ok to have a try one time. But not so wow special for me. Coffee is more impressive. View to have a seat is nice with lake.
I know that Hanselmann has a good reputation. It is a good cafè with delicious pâtisserie BUT the service is awful!
Good view to the mountains, decent coffee and delicious & affordable cakes
Really beautiful place, prices are ok! Went there twice! Don't miss it!
Very loud talking guests and nothing impressive among desserts. I was looking for eclers, but they looked unimpressive. I shared an apple pie with my husband, it was a mediocre one. Berry cakes looked good, but such big pieces did not fit in my calorie plan :(
Top conditor of Switzerland.
Service was excellent food and dessert were delicious.
Awful service. The cafe at the front will charge you same price in euro as franks and they will ask if you would like to sit in the restaurant at the back but then the manager of the restaurant will huff and puff and make you feel unwelcome because you haven't bought anything else. The staff kept murmuring amongst themselves about all of us tourists sat not ordering anything but the cake from the front. When I said this was bad service I was told "you get good service when you orde something". Disgusting. Beware
Sweet delight
Iced tea (or ice tea[1]) is a form of cold tea. Though usually served in a glass with ice, it can refer to any tea that has been chilled or cooled. It may be sweetened with sugar, syrup and/or apple slices. Iced tea is also a popular packaged drink and can be mixed with flavored syrup
Nice bakery, we had some good coffee here and the view was nice. The prices are a bit high, but that's St. Moritz. We don't eat anything, so I cannlt rate the food...
A must visit when in St Moritz. A local favourite. Must try items are the hot chocolate, black forest gateau and the nut cake (Nusse Torte)
It's a unique cafe-restaurant with a magnificent view over the mountains! The waitress Laurenza (an asset to the Hanselmann )was very friendly and professional, showed a genuine interest and was very attentive! I give one star short of five because the portions were quite small in comparison to other restaurants in St Moritz, nevertheless the food was more than delicious. Highly recommended!
Amazing café with great food and beautiful views. We went twice in three days and only missed going on our first day because they were closed to celebrate their 125th anniversary. 😁
Fabulous breakfast from the menu, far too much food but delicious! Silver service for the cappuccino and a 2nd one offered, very friendly and professional service. Boutique sells local specialities.
Today my fiancée and I came for coffee and cakes. Hansel Mann’s has a great reputation and the cakes are truly delicious. I would say our drinks were equally delicious and surprisingly for Saint Moritz, it doesn’t break the bank. The service staff in the patisserie area were very lovely. However, the two waitresses that served us in the restaurant area were nothing short of grumpy and rude. I speak English and enough German to get by, communicating and being understood was not a problem. The two ladies were just rude! The first lady was just impolite and unfriendly. The second lady when I asked politely if we could sit at an empty table in front of the massive glass window asked me “why?!” I explained because of the view. She continued to ask me rudely why I would like to sit in that table (when there were only tables left in the back corner with no view. I simply replied because of the beautiful view. She replied “if you must”. I’ve visited Switzerland innumerable times and never encountered wait staff as rude as this! You need to pick up your game!
Best food and dessert

Overrated!
After being around need rest
Not very good in or understanding English language, sale person unable to explain more for what we looking for
